🌿 Summers in the Park
General Terms & Conditions
By participating in classes, purchasing packages, or attending events offered by Summers in the Park, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. 💻 Bookings & Payments

All classes, events, and packages must be booked in advance through our website, email, or social platforms.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your spot.

We accept digital payments only (credit/debit, PayPal, or Venmo/Cash App depending on platform).
2. 🧘 Class Packages

Class packs (e.g., 5-Class Pack) are valid for a set period (e.g., 60 days) from the date of purchase.

Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise stated in a specific policy.

Unused classes will expire after the valid period.
3. 🌦️ Weather & Outdoor Classes

Outdoor classes are weather-dependent. In the case of rain, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions:

You will be notified by email/text at least 2 hours before class time.

The class will be rescheduled or credited to your account.

4. 🕒 Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance for standard classes and 7 days for special events to avoid losing your booking or payment.

No-shows and late cancellations may result in the forfeiture of your session or class credit.
5. 🔁 Refunds

Refunds are only granted based on the specific refund policy related to class packs, events, or workshops.

Refunds are not guaranteed for missed classes or late cancellations unless due to verified emergency or instructor cancellation.
6. ⚠️ Health & Safety

You are responsible for your own health and well-being.

By attending, you confirm that you are physically fit and cleared for physical activity.

You agree to take full responsibility for any injuries incurred during participation.

If pregnant, injured, or under medical care, please notify your instructor before class.
7. 🧾 Liability Waiver

All participants are required to agree to the Summers in the Park liability waiver, which releases the instructor from claims related to injury, loss, or damage.

Hands-on adjustments may be offered in class. You may opt out at any time.
8. 📧 Communication & Privacy

You may receive emails or texts about class changes, events, or inspiration related to Summers in the Park.

Your personal information will never be shared, sold, or misused.
9. 📸 Media Release

Photos may be taken during class or events for marketing purposes.
-
You may opt out by letting your instructor know in advance or checking the opt-out box during registration.

What to include in the T&C document
Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
